You know you're a mom of 2 under 2 when...

 {okay, I know that my boys aren't techincally "2 under 2" anymore...but close enough, right?!}
  • taking a shower AND getting to wash your hair becomes a major luxury.
  • Dry shampoo becomes a staple in your "getting ready" routine. {see above}
  • You buy new fun, fall clothes...but then remember that your daily "momiform" includes yoga pants & t-shirts.
  • You simply can't function without your morning a cup of coffee.
  • going to the grocery store is like an Olympic event & often leaves you sweaty and frazzled.
  • half of your day consists of changing someone's diapers and washing about a gazillion loads of tiny clothes.
  • your brain no longer works. Seriously.
  • it takes you at least half an hour longer to get out the door than it should. Oh, and you will never be on time again.
  • 7:00 am is equivalent to sleeping in.
  • your wardrobe (psh, yoga pants & t-shirts) has a permanent array of toddler snack crumbs and baby spit up.
  • a trip to the salon to get your hair done is like the Best! Day! Ever! because you never have 2 1/2 hours all alone.
  • your heart feels like it could explode every single day because you not only get to love that rambunctious toddler, but also that sweet baby. (sorry, had to get mushy. it's the truth!)

I have already told James that when it's time for a trip to the grocery store, either I go or he goes but one of us is staying home with C.

I'm having flashbacks of when Rhys was a newborn - I can't even imagine with two!! You are doing an amazing job, mama!! Those boys are so lucky!
